Colton's a year; I am a 1/4 a century!

I had a pretty good birthday. I caught Colton's cold, but I still made Tyler and Colton run a 5k and go to Cheesecake Factory! Then we had dinner on Sunday with all our friends. Mom sent a care package complete with Funfetti cupcakes and sparkler candles.

Pam was nice enough to let us take their umbrella stroller when we were coming home from Utah.

It has been a good thing and a bad thing.

Colton would walk around with it all day if he could.

But this is the face we get if we try and steer him away from anything dangerous.

On really hot days, we like to go swimming.

We love his little speedo.

I always know when Colton spends time with his dad.

Today he walked around all day with a blanket draped over him. He loves to play peek-a-boo under the blankets.

Colton and I picking blueberries.

Colton did more dumping of the bucket than he did helping me pick.

Kirtland with the Cramers!

 Stone Quary.

Colton loved hanging out with his cousins.

Our garden has been doing really well. We have gotten onions, tomatoes, and banana peppers.

We love our little monkey!

Better late than never: 11 months

Lately Colton has been getting into trouble by getting out of things he shouldn't. The list includes cloths, shopping carts, and high chair. He is quite the monkey these days.

One weekend we went to the Children's museum and saw the Terracotta Worriers.

We thought they were cooler than Colton did.

We even got to dress up like the worriers.

They were very handsome looking.

They had so many fun things for Colton too.

Colton and dad had so much fun playing together.

This is what happens when I take a nap and these two are together. Why so serious?

Can't believe he is almost 1 year old.

See you all in Utah soon!

Chicago Temple, Aquarium, and the Zoo

While dad was at the temple we had a photo shoot.

We met some new friends outside the temple that we played with for a while.

Everything was in bloom around the temple, it was so pretty.

Walking to the aquarium we gave Colton a pen. When we got there, we found the cap missing and someone had drawn all over themselves.

There were some huge fishes!

We tried to stand next to them to show how big some of them really were.

Some pictures I made Tyler take cause I could not look at them. Gross.

I was far away from this one too.

These guys were ok though.

Then we walked to the fountain down town.

We got photo bombed at the bean.

We had so much fun talking pictures in the bean.

We heard our local zoo has baby goats. So we decided to go there.

They were so cute. Colton yelled at all of them as his way of talking to them.

Then we also saw the baby Kangaroos as well.
