5 Months

This Halloween Colton went as a football!

The day after Halloween we went to Walmart and got some candy and cloths for 50% off. Colton was good back up when fighting people off for the good candy.

All that candy put hair on his chest...I mean his head.

Fall was only here for a week or two before it got really cold.

So we went on Campus and got some pictures.

He was more interested in eating the leafs.

Our favorite Sister Missionary is leaving this week and we are really sad.

Getting ready for church.

This week Colton has been doing to planks in the morning. It is so funny.

Colton is growing up so fast. He is already 5 Months!

The good thing about getting bigger is he is sleeping really well. He is sleeping almost 12 hours which makes happy parents.

We love our little bear.

4 Months and Chicago

This past week we decided to go on a road trip to Chicago and go to the temple. Colton was so good all the way there.

On the way back we did have to stop a few times to get out and walk around.

We loved the hotel we stayed in! It had a big warm pool that Colton loved to swim in. It was a good thing that the hotel had a swimming cap for all Colton's hair.

We stopped by lake Michigan on the way home.

They had fun boats that we played on.

We did go to the temple, but didn't get a picture because we each had to take care of our little boy.

This week Colton is sleeping with his hands out. He takes out his binky and then gets really mad, it is really fun.

It is getting a little chillier here, so when we go for runs we have to rap this little bear up.

Our 4 month old photo shoot.

He was so funny taking pictures because he would start rocking on the chair.

We also had to get out the 6 month old cloths, because he is getting so big!

Baptisms, Bath Time, and Bargins

Every Sunday we get together with our friends and invite people from the ward. This week we invited the Sisters over. They are so much fun.

The Sisters let us go teaching with them when they need us. This week we got to see our friend Brian baptized. It was my first convert baptism.

Colton's first time feeling the grass. He had the funniest face, and handfuls of grass.

Colton can spend hours in the tub. He loves his rubber ducky.

This past week we went to Notre Dame to watch BYU and Purdue run. It was so fun to see my old friends again. I was in half Purdue half BYU clothes, but Colton and Ty were all for Purdue.

Campus was so beautiful!

Touch Down!

The first Saturday of every month Good Will has half price on everything! So Colton got a bunch of new cloths for a dollar.

3 Months Old

Here is Colton's 2 and 3 month old pictures. I don't think he has changed at all, except for his thighs have gotten thicker. He only lasted 2 minutes for his 3 month old picture, but somehow I got the exact same pose as last time.

Grandma Tammy gave us this awesome Bumbo.
Every morning we sit him in his seat and he stares at the cereal box as we eat. It is so funny.

I started helping out the Purdue Cross Country team. We got to go to their home meet last week. It was really nice to watch because we are on this giant hill where everyone stands to watch the whole race.

This is why I volunteer... all the free Nike cloths.  Tyler is pretty jealous since he is the one that goes to school all day. Unfortunately for me, my favorite jacket was a men's jacket and it fits him better. So I guess we are even.

This past weekend we went to what is called the Hoosier Outdoor Experience. It was at a state park where you could try out anything that has to do with the outdoors: like shooting, biking, hiking, rock climbing, horse riding, and a ton more. The best part was that it was all for free!

They bused us into the state park, but once we were in the park we road these fun trolleys to different parts of the park. That was Colton's favorite part because there was so much stuff to look at.

Tyler's favorite part was the jeep ride. We got a ten minute ride through the hills of Indiana.

My favorite part was catching this ginormous fish!

I had to get the worm and Tyler was nice and did the rest of the dirty work.

We been to all these fun places with Tyler's friends from school. We also went to the zoo for the last time it was open.

One of our friends have a little girl that is 3 months older than Colton, so we joke that they are going to date one day.

Colton loves his dad. I don't know how but he always seems to pee and poo on Tyler. Also this morning Tyler was playing to soon after Colton ate and got spit up in his mouth. Tyler just gets all the bad luck sometimes.

How could you be mad at this little boy though?

2 Months Old

Well, it finally happened. My diploma finally came in the mail! I never thought I would see the day.
Now that I am away from my mom I have to find some other way to keep my hair lookin' good. So Tyler was nice and helped me out. As you can see he has really good technique.
Tyler and Colton love to play jokes on mom. Tyler will do something with Colton and then blame it on Colton so I can't get mad. Here Tyler thought it would be funny to put him on top of me while praying, then take pictures.
Since I can't get mad at this cute boy, I just put him in what looks like baby jail.
When Pam and Dirk came into town she got him some nice toys. I decided to strap these noise makers to his hands and see how he liked them.
Tiffany was nice enough to let me borrow her rap so I could have an extra set of hands.
Here is Colton's 2 month old picture! I think we are going to take his pictures in this chair just like I did with Nana's chair.
It is always when dad is gone that this boy likes to make a mess of all his cloths and blankets.
The other day we got a package from Sarah. This is the blanket she has been working so hard to make for Colton. She has great taste in colors.
Colton outgrew all his newborn cloths, so we had a fashion show with all his cute new 3 month old cloths.
We were so happy to have Steve and Tiff's family come to see us!
They were nice enough to help us take photo's for Colton's blessing.

 He loves posing for pictures.
He was so good during his blessing and did not cry at all!

We love our little handsome boy.
