3 Months Old

Here is Colton's 2 and 3 month old pictures. I don't think he has changed at all, except for his thighs have gotten thicker. He only lasted 2 minutes for his 3 month old picture, but somehow I got the exact same pose as last time.

Grandma Tammy gave us this awesome Bumbo.
Every morning we sit him in his seat and he stares at the cereal box as we eat. It is so funny.

I started helping out the Purdue Cross Country team. We got to go to their home meet last week. It was really nice to watch because we are on this giant hill where everyone stands to watch the whole race.

This is why I volunteer... all the free Nike cloths.  Tyler is pretty jealous since he is the one that goes to school all day. Unfortunately for me, my favorite jacket was a men's jacket and it fits him better. So I guess we are even.

This past weekend we went to what is called the Hoosier Outdoor Experience. It was at a state park where you could try out anything that has to do with the outdoors: like shooting, biking, hiking, rock climbing, horse riding, and a ton more. The best part was that it was all for free!

They bused us into the state park, but once we were in the park we road these fun trolleys to different parts of the park. That was Colton's favorite part because there was so much stuff to look at.

Tyler's favorite part was the jeep ride. We got a ten minute ride through the hills of Indiana.

My favorite part was catching this ginormous fish!

I had to get the worm and Tyler was nice and did the rest of the dirty work.

We been to all these fun places with Tyler's friends from school. We also went to the zoo for the last time it was open.

One of our friends have a little girl that is 3 months older than Colton, so we joke that they are going to date one day.

Colton loves his dad. I don't know how but he always seems to pee and poo on Tyler. Also this morning Tyler was playing to soon after Colton ate and got spit up in his mouth. Tyler just gets all the bad luck sometimes.

How could you be mad at this little boy though?

2 Months Old

Well, it finally happened. My diploma finally came in the mail! I never thought I would see the day.
Now that I am away from my mom I have to find some other way to keep my hair lookin' good. So Tyler was nice and helped me out. As you can see he has really good technique.
Tyler and Colton love to play jokes on mom. Tyler will do something with Colton and then blame it on Colton so I can't get mad. Here Tyler thought it would be funny to put him on top of me while praying, then take pictures.
Since I can't get mad at this cute boy, I just put him in what looks like baby jail.
When Pam and Dirk came into town she got him some nice toys. I decided to strap these noise makers to his hands and see how he liked them.
Tiffany was nice enough to let me borrow her rap so I could have an extra set of hands.
Here is Colton's 2 month old picture! I think we are going to take his pictures in this chair just like I did with Nana's chair.
It is always when dad is gone that this boy likes to make a mess of all his cloths and blankets.
The other day we got a package from Sarah. This is the blanket she has been working so hard to make for Colton. She has great taste in colors.
Colton outgrew all his newborn cloths, so we had a fashion show with all his cute new 3 month old cloths.
We were so happy to have Steve and Tiff's family come to see us!
They were nice enough to help us take photo's for Colton's blessing.

 He loves posing for pictures.
He was so good during his blessing and did not cry at all!

We love our little handsome boy.

Meatloaf, Meatloaf, double Beatloaf

Lately I have been asking Tyler what he wants me to make him for dinner. Out of all the things that he could have chosen, he chose.....meatloaf. Tyler loved it, but I was calling it Beatloaf like on the "Christmas Story."

So this past week was one of the greatest days of the year...MY BIRTHDAY! For my birthday present from Tyler I asked for a super high tech shower head.  You couldn't stand under this one for more than two seconds because it felt like a fire hose.

It is much more motivational to take showers now.

For dinner, Tyler and Colton took me out to Logan's Roadhouse. We basically ate the yummy butter rolls and then saved the stake and fries for our midnight snack.

It is a joke at Tyler's parents house that Pam is going to make Pink Lemonade cookies for me.

But chocolate cake with caramel and Heath is so much better for birthday cake.

Also for Birthday fun we went to the pool.

Colton only cried for a minute, but soon loved the water.

This week our friends ask us to go Blueberry picking with them. We had a picnic in the farmers front lawn and then went out to their land and picked blueberries. They were so good.

We got to eat these blueberries on our new kitchen table! It was much nicer than eating on the floor like we have been doing before we got the table.

It is a good thing we got a table because we are not allowed to eat on our new couches.

Colton even helped us pick out our couches. We found one that was just his size.

Well that is all that is happening around here. Basically Colton and I just lounge around till Tyler gets home from work.

One foot in and One foot out

We have no idea why, but this little boy loves to have just one foot in and one foot out. When we go for a walk he will have one foot in and the other out. Other people on our walk were staring as we were taking pictures and us laughing at our silly kid.

When we rap him up at night we put both feet in the blanket and when we wake up in the morning, he always has one foot out. It is so funny.

Here we are in the worlds smallest elevator to get Colton's birth certificate. We all had to squeeze in and barely fit getting up there. Tyler wanted to play scare Lacey by jumping up and down in the elevator so we can be stuck in there.
This week we moved to Lafayette, Indiana. We got our apartment so clean, but almost forgot someone.
Good thing we had extra room in the back of the truck for him. We played "I Spy" with Colton.
We were so tired moving in that night that we just left everything in the front room. It was pretty cramped with the 3 of us, a TV, boxes, and a grill all in the same space.
We love living here so far, even if we still don't have anywhere to sit in our house because we don't have couches or a kitchen table. We are glad we made it safe for Colton's one month being here in our family.
