From Lafayette to Louisville

Almost every morning you can find Colton and I at the parks in Lafayette.

Our favorite park is called Munger Park.

It is little but has a running path, ducks, and Colton's favorite...

... this blue tube on the playground.

We like to go down all the slides.

Sometimes tummy first.

Mostly it is nice to let him explore where ever his feet take him.

We are really helpful at home.

This weekend we all went to the car show with 2 of our friends in Caramel, Indiana.

It is right by where the new temple is going up, and hopeful done soon!

The boys had lots of fun looking at all the cars while the girls talked.

We took a lot more pictures of cars, but mostly sent them all to Ben.

You will have to ask Tyler what all these cars are called cause I did not know very many.

Ask me about any dogs name though and Colton and I could tell you them. Cause we had to go and visit every dog there.

We all had fun doing what we all liked though.

The Chicago Temple was closed a few weeks ago so we made a trip down to Louisville.

We loved going back and seeing where we used to live!

We are glad we get to travel all over and see old and new places.

Colton's a year; I am a 1/4 a century!

I had a pretty good birthday. I caught Colton's cold, but I still made Tyler and Colton run a 5k and go to Cheesecake Factory! Then we had dinner on Sunday with all our friends. Mom sent a care package complete with Funfetti cupcakes and sparkler candles.

Pam was nice enough to let us take their umbrella stroller when we were coming home from Utah.

It has been a good thing and a bad thing.

Colton would walk around with it all day if he could.

But this is the face we get if we try and steer him away from anything dangerous.

On really hot days, we like to go swimming.

We love his little speedo.

I always know when Colton spends time with his dad.

Today he walked around all day with a blanket draped over him. He loves to play peek-a-boo under the blankets.

Colton and I picking blueberries.

Colton did more dumping of the bucket than he did helping me pick.

Kirtland with the Cramers!

 Stone Quary.

Colton loved hanging out with his cousins.

Our garden has been doing really well. We have gotten onions, tomatoes, and banana peppers.

We love our little monkey!

Better late than never: 11 months

Lately Colton has been getting into trouble by getting out of things he shouldn't. The list includes cloths, shopping carts, and high chair. He is quite the monkey these days.

One weekend we went to the Children's museum and saw the Terracotta Worriers.

We thought they were cooler than Colton did.

We even got to dress up like the worriers.

They were very handsome looking.

They had so many fun things for Colton too.

Colton and dad had so much fun playing together.

This is what happens when I take a nap and these two are together. Why so serious?

Can't believe he is almost 1 year old.

See you all in Utah soon!
